Fleet / Cameras & Sensors / Software
Flight missions for the acquisition of ultra-high-resolution aerial imagery and LiDAR data, are carried out by specially modified, EASA certified aircrafts. Aircrafts are equipped with a wide range of airborne mapping systems, digital large and medium format aerial cameras (e.g. Vexcel Ultracam Eagle Μ3, Phase One iXU-RS 1000), LiDAR sensors (e.g. Riegl LMS VQ-1560ii, VQ-880-G II), hyperspectral and thermal cameras (e.g. CASI & TABI), accurate GPS/IMU systems and other scientific equipment. Our sensors and aircrafts allow us to execute capture with a GSD range of 1.5 to 50cm. In addition, aircrafts are not restricted to fly at a specific height above sea level, so depending on the type of project, flight’s altitude is adjusted to meet complex demands of any customer.
The types of the available aircrafts are:
Flight planning is achieved by a specialized industry standard 3D flight planning software, with the inclusion of digital maps and elevation models in order to achieve the best results and minimize the cost of flight mission. The subsequent high-quality processing of geospatial information is executed according to projects’ needs and clients’ demands.
Depending on the client’s requirements, project final deliverables, type of services offered (i.e. photogrammetry & Ortho, LiDAR data processing) and export formats, we use a wide range of photogrammetric post-processing and LiDAR point cloud software tools ensuring the compatibility of outputs with most CAD and GIS software.
